Are you an experienced communications professional looking for a role where you'll be imperative to driving the firm's communication & PR strategy? As the Communications Lead, you'll work closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to play a critical role in building and enhancing our brand's reputation and delivering our internal and external communications in line with our firm's strategy. Our brand provides the platform for creative freedom, to step out of the mould and challenge what communications from a law firm should be. You'll really help to propel the Walker Morris brand forward through an effective & impactful communications and PR strategy. Devising and implementing the firm's social media strategy, you'll work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Executive to analyse each campaign and identify opportunities for improvement. You'll be our communications and PR expert, owning our tone of voice and style guides. Leading on copywriting, you'll provide support and guidance to the wider marketing and communications team to develop our in-house copywriting ability. As well as having responsibility for our brand, you'll also take the lead on delivering our press and PR strategy. Working closely with our PR agency, you'll act as our internal journalist to gather news and deals from around the firm. This is a great opportunity for those with communications and PR experience from either an in-house or marketing agency background. Experience of B2B communications within a professional services environment is advantageous. We offer hybrid working at Walker Morris, so you'll be able to split your time between home and the office, with 2-3 days in the office per week. What we are looking for: A marketing or PR qualification is preferred but not essential. Experience in a B2B in-house communications or PR role within professional services, or within a marketing or PR agency. Familiarity with the full marketing mix, including social and digital media, internal and client communications, and sponsorships. Strong copywriting and proofreading skills. Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal stakeholders and suppliers. People management experience is an advantage as you'll have a direct report.
