What’s the Frontend Developer role all about?
A developer with experience of working with modern web applications to join our in-house development team. You will be working within an established team to help build new features and enhance our current platform during an exciting period in Orlo’s journey.
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for robust and responsive UIs, as well as a desire to build upon an existing skillset in performant single page applications. You will already have some experience in web development, particularly a strong knowledge of best practice CSS and are able to use MVC frameworks such as Angular/React-Redux to build out UI logic.
What would Orlo love from you?
* Ability to write modern semantic HTML / CSS according to best practices
* Good grasp of responsive UI and how to achieve that with CSS
* Experience with Angular, or a modern component-based frontend framework, such as React or Vue
* Experience with MVC architecture
* Able to use git effectively to manage source code
* Good communication skills to be able to liaise with other members of the team
Bonus Skills
* WCAG accessibility
* Typescript
* PHP
* Unit testing
* Experience building REST APIs and a knowledge of backend development
