The Eminox Group comprises three companies: Eminox Ltd, Ceramex Ltd, and SaveGuard. We supply products and services globally from our manufacturing facilities in the UK (HQ), Europe, North America, and Asia.
Eminox designs market-leading exhausts, specialist pipes, silencers, and exhaust aftertreatment systems that use innovative diesel particulate filter (DPF) technologies and the latest SCR technology to reduce harmful pollutants from heavy-duty equipment and vehicles across multiple sectors.
Ceramex is a leading international supplier of DPF remanufacturing and cleaning services to major OEMs with facilities across the UK, Europe, Japan, and North America.
SaveGuard designs and distributes market-leading thermal and acoustic solutions to a wide range of automotive OEMs and off-highway customers, alongside fire protection equipment supplied under the Firehalt brand. These products and solutions expand the Eminox Group’s value offering and enhance the technological capabilities with a wide range of automotive products used in vehicle exhausts.
The business leadership team takes overall ownership and accountability to deliver the business targets, including the overall growth targets of the business and the creation and execution of the global business strategy.
The Ceramex Business Unit Leader provides the direct link between the business strategy and the execution and development of the Ceramex growth pipeline, with specific focus on delivering greater than 5% CAGR alongside increasing the PBT year-on-year through new OE, distributor partnerships, as well as adding further licensing and franchise partners.
In addition to generating additional revenues and strengthening PBT, the BUL is responsible for NPI and sustaining engineering, alongside product/portfolio management and product lifecycle management. By necessity, this will also include building and expanding relationships with our global partners and being their voice within the organization.
This BUL role will drive the growth of Ceramex business as well as customer retention by managing the various stakeholders’ expectations in line with the company development plans. Specifically, this BUL will also be responsible for coaching the rest of the Eminox group of companies in understanding the global partnership/JV base and how this assists the group in meeting the customer needs/challenges. This will spread across existing partners (SRC) and newly developed relationships.
This is a broad scope business role, where successful delivery will rely on functional impact from the entire breadth of the business, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.
The successful candidate will have experience in acquiring, maintaining, and retaining key clients (Supply Chain, Customers, and Development Partners) ideally within the engineering/manufacturing industry.
The Business Unit Leader will be responsible for both maintaining business and developing new opportunities globally and working collaboratively between the customers and Eminox group of companies, at all business levels and across all functions, to build differentiating value.
Key responsibilities:
* Meet or exceed sales and gross margin plan, including 3-year double-digit CAGR growth plans.
* Increase and accurately forecast sales and prospect pipeline.
* Own the associated P&L and Balance sheet of the Ceramex BU.
* Direct control of the Ceramex BU team and associated partners.
* Build strategic global relationships at the senior level while engaging within technical groups to develop new business opportunities and successfully close business.
* Identify the needs of the customers while demonstrating value to their business.
* Influence internally and externally, with or without formal authority to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
* Lead Business review: Forecast, Financial results, Voice of the customer engagement, Debt Review, and Action Plan.
* Demonstrate financial acumen with customers: Analyze, use, and discuss financial business drivers and metrics to advance the sales cycle.
* Influence the customer’s selection process and procurement function.
* Identify, communicate and manage new globally positioned joint ventures to support new business development, based on customer needs.
* Identify, communicate and manage new globally positioned licensing/franchise agreements to support new business development and overall global network coverage.
* Become an internal subject matter expert on Ceramex remote operations.
* Become an internal subject matter expert on Joint Venture, licensing, and franchise execution.
* Identify and report local trends and opportunities within the Ceramex segment and associated industry.
* Travel regularly to meet customers.
* Identify any potential M&A properties and undertake associated pre-proposal due diligence.
