An exciting opportunity has arisen within the East Dunbartonshire HSCP ANP Service for a Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for professional and operational management of the East Dun HSCP ANP service whilst supporting training and clinical supervision for ANP’s and trainee ANP’s undertaking the advanced practice pathway. This role will have a clinical function alongside leadership and management responsibilites. The successful candidate will use quality improvement and change management strategies to support service development, and transformation whilst contributing to wider strategic priorities. As an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner you will contribute to the implementation of the Primary Care Improvement Plan to support General Practitioners to deliver urgent and unscheduled care for the registered patient population living in East Dunbartonshire. It is essential that you hold an appropriate Masters level qualification in Advanced Practice which has enabled competence in: Clinical assessment, Clinical reasoning, judgement and diagnostic decision making, Anatomy and pathophysiology, Non medical prescribing- V300, Leading, delivering and evaluating care, Practice learning/transferable work based learning. It is essential that you are also currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC. Experience in leading and developing quality improvement projects, change management and operational management is desirable.
