Role: Support Worker
Location: Leeds, Seacroft
Salary: £11.54/hr
Hours: 22.5 – 37.5hrs per week (including alternate weekend working)

To meet the needs of our adults, our Support Worker teams work a variety of shift patterns and hours, however we do ask that you are able to work from 7am or until 9:30pm at night depending on your weekly rota. Rotas are issued in advance, and your 4-week rota will follow a pattern, so you can always plan ahead for your days off. Shifts are typically 7.5hrs to 12.5hrs in length, including weekends.
Day to day role of a Support Worker:
Your typical day to day role will include:
* Supporting with meals and drinks, and to help them to get excited about being involved in cooking and baking!
* Helping with their personal care, including bathing and showering, so they look and feel great.
* Engaging in meaningful activities both at home and out in the community – whether that’s the cinema, bowling, or absailing.
* Building a relationship with the adults and their families, so that you can provide truly person-centred, individualised care.
* Supporting adults to access our on-site Hydrotherapy pool (don’t worry, you don’t need to be a strong swimmer!) and Rebound trampoline – guided by qualified Physiotherapists and Lifeguard trained staff.
Experience is welcome, but not essential, as all training will be given. You do not need to be a driver to apply for this role.

Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS check or willing to apply for one
* Minimum of Grade 4(C) in English and Maths
* Lived in the UK for a minimum of 6 months

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
