Cleaning Team Leader Location: Stamford College Salary: £28,582 per annum Contract: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm Tuesday & Thursday: 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm Immediate Start Available Stamford College is seeking an experienced and proactive Cleaning Team Leader to join our team and ensure the IEG Group, Stamford College and Borderville premises are cleaned to the highest standard. This is a working supervisor role where you will manage and lead a defined team of cleaners, coordinating daily tasks and taking responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. Key Responsibilities: Line manage a team of cleaners, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Unlock premises, deactivate alarms, and ensure security protocols are followed. Order cleaning stock and maintain effective stock control. Maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good working order. Plan and allocate cleaning duties and work rotas for the team. Carry out hands-on cleaning duties as required, including general cleaning and deep cleaning tasks. Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to. Provide effective leadership and support to the team. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in facilities management and leading a team. Knowledge of health and safety procedures and best practices. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage priorities. Good knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment maintenance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
