Hazelmont has exciting opportunities for Senior Residential Practitioners to join our company as it transitions and grows in 2024. We have 3 established Children's Homes all rated GOOD with Ofsted, across Willenhall, Walsall & Wednesfield areas, and are looking to open our 4th home in February 2025!

The key duties:
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will support the children in the homes, establishing a quality-led service and developing safe, professional, supportive, and nurturing relationships with them.
Responsibilities include:
* Running your shift as the main point of call.
* Decision making in line with policy and individual child’s risk assessments.
* Ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
* Promoting therapeutic practice in line with our PACE model.
* Being a positive role model for the children.
* Showing consistency and commitment to your assigned role.
The shift patterns available are full-time & part-time, including evening work, weekends, and bank holidays. Sleep-ins are paid at £60.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Must be 21 or over.
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in a team leader/shift leading role in a children’s home.
* Diploma level 3/4 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent is essential.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in the residential childcare sector.
* UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
* Enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service required.
