About the role - Reporting to the Head of Supply Finance - Procurement, the Indirect Procurement Finance Manager will provide financial insights and analysis to support Procurement target delivery and performance improvement, whilst ensuring risk and volatility is handled and well-understood. Specifically, the role will provide finance business support to various procurement teams responsible for various indirect spend categories. This will involve supporting various Heads of Procurement and Category Directors across regions. The role will be expected to provide thorough financial and strategic support to guide procurement decision-making, and support developing plans to deliver sustainability roadmaps. Key responsibilities, therefore, include partnering to: - Develop procurement and CRES strategies and related financial plans - Review and negotiate supplier contracts - Support productivity ideation and related financial implications - Deliver broader procurement-led projects or initiatives, and - Analyse, track and report overall procurement performance - cost, cash and carbon The role will play an integral role in various financial processes including the 3 Year financial planning process, Annual Operating Plans and monthly reporting exercises. Therefore, the role will work closely with FP&A teams to bring clarity to how Procurement actions affect P&L and Cash delivery. The role requires the person to be an ambassador for the standardization and simplification, acting at pace to handle a dynamic external and internal environment. Moreover, the role will play a key role in capability development across finance and procurement virtual communities.
