At the RSCH, the Physiotherapy Team will be based both in the existing buildings but also in the exciting purpose-built Louisa Martindale Building, where there is a multi-disciplinary office in the new building with access to our brand-new ADL Suites, garden and therapy gym. Enabling, our staff to really make a difference to our patients' therapy and care. Main duties of the job To provide administrative support to the Inpatients Physiotherapy Team and other non-MSK services. Ordering equipment/items as required. To provide the administrative support to the inpatient service, book rooms for meetings, take minutes, organise student and work experience placements, receive and log new out-patient referrals, book appointments, and file and scan notes as needed. Update health roster as needed. To maintain excellent working relations with the Physio Department and communicate effectively with patients and all levels of staff encountered in the working environment both internal and external. To support and manage clinic changes on Careflow. To monitor workload, waiting lists/targets at own site and liaise with other sites to ensure a consistent service. To provide cover for administrative and reception duties across 3 sites as appropriate. This post is based at RSCH but there may be a requirement to cover admin cross site during busy/holiday times.
