About the Role
Howdale Group Practice are looking to welcome a salaried GP to join the team on a permanent basis for 4-6 sessions a week. We offer the option to become a partner at the surgery (if desired).
The main responsibilities of the role include:
* The delivery of high-quality medical care to our patients.
* Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload, including on call doctor and telephone triage roles.
* Effective management of long-term conditions, accepting delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF.
* Carrying out home visits where necessary.
* Maintaining accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance.
* Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat and acute prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks.
* Contributing to the promoting and successful implementation of continuous improvement, development and maintenance of the practice including clinical governance and training.
* Ensuring compliance with the appraisal process and completing the revalidation process.
About the Candidate
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will:
* Be a fully qualified GP with GMC registration
* Have experience of working in a primary care environment.
* Be able to understand the needs of the patient and be sensitive and empathic.
* Be committed to supporting all the team and contribute to the development of the Practice.
* Continue with ongoing professional development

We are a 3 partner GMS practice with a list size c 7,900, which is growing. We are based across two sites, Downham Market and Marham, both sites are dispensing and we use SystmOne.. We offer:
