Deputy Store Manager
Job Overview:
The Deputy Store Manager plays a vital role in the daily operations of our store, supporting the Store Manager and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including stock management, customer service, and staff supervision.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and product presentation throughout the store.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales targets, inventory control, and budgeting.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior members of the team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing employee engagement.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and be available on call when required.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £34,000 - £42,000 per annum.
