What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and highly effective Headteacher or Co-Headteachers to lead Cirencester Deer Park School forward into the next phase of its development as a leading member of the Corinium Education Trust, which is currently comprised of Cirencester Deer Park School and five local primary schools.
This is an exciting opportunity. The new Headteacher or Co-Headteachers of Cirencester Deer Park School will:
• Recognise the current direction of travel and help the school and Trust continue ahead on our improvement journey by building on the foundations that we have already laid;
• Define a clear vision and promote the school’s distinctive characteristics within the Trust;
• Have a positive mindset and ‘can do’ attitude, excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence;
• Provide clear leadership, inspire and motivate everyone in the school’s and Trust’s wider community to be the best they can be every day;
• Develop and strengthen the quality of teaching and learning by drawing on research informed practice to ensure a diverse curriculum that is ambitious and meets the needs of all learners;
• Evaluate the quality of education effectively and ensure that all pupils can access and learn the intended curriculum;
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff in the school and across the Trust;
• Share the Corinium Education Trust’s collaborative approach and ambition for all our schools.
