Patient Access Administrator
Location:Brighton
Band: 3
Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM, office-based)
Contract: ASAP start until the end of March (possible extension up to 6 months, subject to funding)
Meridian Business Support is currently seeking a Patient Access Administrator to join the Imaging and Nuclear Medicine team at Royal Sussex County Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an organisedand detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling patient enquiries via telephone and email with professionalism and empathy.
* Coordinating patient appointments and maintaining accurate records.
* Using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data entry and reporting.
* Supporting the team with general administrative duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
At least 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent, including English and Maths. -Educated to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, for example admin and clerical qualification or equivalent level.
Excellent written and verbal communication comfortable handling calls and composing professional emails.
