We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coffee Shop Manager for a business opportunity in South Cambridge. We are looking for someone to lead a team and ensure the smooth operation of a café setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety. As the Coffee Shop Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers while supervising daily operations and managing staff effectively.
Duties
* Oversee daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction.
* Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting excellent service standards.
* Assist in menu development, including seasonal offerings and special promotions to enhance customer experience.
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability of products.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance their experience.
* Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is required.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A passion for coffee culture and an understanding of various brewing methods is advantageous.
