Job Description:
Role Overview: Reporting to the Maintenance & Integrity Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Advisor — Mechanical Support supports the discipline engineering team in delivering safe, compliant, and predictable operations. The role involves providing technical support for mechanical systems, coordinating maintenance work, and identifying improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support offshore operations regarding mechanical system operability, isolation requirements, troubleshooting, and strategy.
* Prepare work in line with activity planning, adhering to gate criteria and readiness expectations.
* Review maintenance test results and assess equipment integrity.
* Identify and document non-compliances, and escalate issues as needed.
* Track equipment health and spares availability, highlighting safety or production risks.
* Provide technical recommendations for discipline issues and participate in operational reviews.
* Participate in root cause failure investigations and support troubleshooting efforts.
* Support and administer operational, maintenance, and technical support contracts.
* Contribute to risk assessments, IVB surveys, and responses.
* Propose and develop projects to improve facilities, including technical and financial analysis.
* Collaborate with modification groups on project proposals and cost estimates.
* Manage vendor studies and support low complexity modifications as assigned.
* Endorse FAT/SAT procedures and support installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
Desired Qualifications:
* Trade apprenticeship in Mechanical discipline.
* Preferably a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Good knowledge of offshore oil and gas process systems and equipment.
* Experience with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
