J & R Care Ltd are currently recruiting for the following role to work in their Residential Children’s Home in Hextable, REGISTERED MANAGER - Therapeutic Children’s Home Location: Swanley, Kent Are you a dedicated and experienced leader looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead our Therapeutic Children’s Home for up to six young people. About Us Our home provides a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children. With a strong emphasis on therapeutic care and emotional well-being, we aim to support our young people to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. The Role As the Registered Manager, you will:Provide strong leadership and management to the team Ensure the home operates in compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Deliver high-quality, child-centered care that meets the therapeutic and emotional needs of young people. Oversee all aspects of the home, including safeguarding, staffing, budgets, and care planning. Build positive relationships with young people, their families, and external stakeholders.• Develop and maintain a trauma-informed culture within the home. What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you will need: Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in managing a children’s home Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). A therapeutic qualification or experience is highly desirable. Knowledge: A strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, and trauma-informed care practices. Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Passion: A commitment to improving outcomes for young people with complex needs.
