Role: Hire Desk Manager
Location: Weston Super Mare
Salary: c£38,000
Job Purpose:
As a Hire Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Hire Desks to ensure that my client are delivering an excellent service to the customer and increasing sales revenue. Managing a team of Hire Controllers, you will motivate and develop the team to create a customer-focused approach within their role in this fast-paced environment.
You are the crucial link between their clients, the transport division and their Service & Repair team to ensure that the right equipment is available and delivered to customer sites on time, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Supervision
Lead, manage and motivate a team of hire desk coordinators to ensure all hire requests are processed smoothly and efficiently.
Provide training, guidance, and support to staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.Hire Desk Operations
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hire desk, ensuring that all plant and equipment hire orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Manage the allocation and dispatch of equipment, ensuring that customer needs are met and that equipment is available when required.
