The role
We have a really exciting opportunity to join our Transactional Services Team here at The Regenda Group. Day to day you will need to maintain an efficient Accounts Payable and Receivable ledger service. You will be responsible for all accounts payable tasks from receiving invoices right through to payment, ensuring all invoices are paid within terms with our supply chain. You will also be the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and will be responsible for ensuring all queries are resolved within a timely manner.
The officer will also be responsible for ensuring all sales invoices are raised across the group by the relevant cut off times, ensuring invoices are then saved and distributed to relevant customers and budget holders. It will be your responsibility to chase all debt and provide updates on debt positions to management.
The right fit
* You will need experience working within a similar finance based role.
* This would be the perfect role for a finance assistant, purchase ledger clerk or someone in a similar level finance role looking to step up into accounts payable.
* Prior experience working in accounts payable and accounts receivable positions would be advantageous.
* Experience working with accounts payable software packages would also be advantageous.
* Experience with Open accounts and Kofax is desirable however not essential.
* Ideally you will be AAT Qualified/part qualified or working towards a suitable qualification.
* You’ll need a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite particularly Word and Excel.
* You need to be confident in communicating both written and verbally.
* You’ll work as a team and have a 'can do' attitude with the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced working environment.
