Job Role: Supply Chain Administrator Salary: £23,000 Location: Wednesbury Type: Full-Time / Permanent Hours / Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 08:30 am – 16:30 pm Overview: Everest People Solutions is supporting a leading food manufacturer and distributor, in their search for a Supply Chain Admin Professional. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling bulk oil deliveries and supporting the supply chain team by maintaining booking sheets, resolving queries, and ensuring smooth operations in the delivery and invoicing process. Key Responsibilities: Delivery Response: Provide early morning responses to any issues related to deliveries. Team Communication: Use Microsoft Teams to communicate with the Weighbridge booking team and planning team. Bulk Oils Management: Maintain and update booking sheets for bulk oils and fats on a daily basis. Daily Scheduling: Schedule daily bulk oil requirements to meet operational needs. Invoice Management: Promptly book direct deliveries and ensure invoices are raised within the same week. Query Resolution: Assist with resolving queries related to invoices, bookings, and pricing discrepancies. Haulage Invoice Accuracy: Check haulage invoices for accuracy and communicate with the Operations team for sign-off. Liaison with Accounts: Work closely with the accounts department to ensure prompt payment processing and resolve any payment-related queries. General Admin Support: Provide general administrative assistance within the bulk oil supply chain department as needed. Essential Requirements: Self-Management: Ability to manage daily tasks and workload independently. Deadline Efficiency: Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines. Microsoft Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and other Office applications. Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Fast Learner: Ability to quickly learn and understand processes. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks. Communication: Strong communication skills across multiple channels (face-to-face, email, Microsoft Teams, and telephone). Supply Chain Knowledge: Prior knowledge of Supply Chain Access is advantageous but not essential (training will be provided).
