A client of ours in the Basildon area is recruiting a Junior Logistics Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying £16,770 - £22,308 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Dealing with internal and external customer enquiries.
2. Sort, scan, attach shipment details to the system.
3. Source PODs (Proof of Deliveries) from suppliers' websites.
4. Request PODs on request.
5. Meeting the individual needs of clients regarding their demands on PODs.
6. Ensure that all company filing is in order and filed correctly.
7. Label filing accordingly and maintain relevant spreadsheet to ensure staff can locate documents when required.
8. Palletise filing and ensure it is stored correctly within the warehouse.
9. Raising invoices when required.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Junior Logistics Administrator position:
1. 1+ year experience within an office, admin, and secretarial environment.
2. Excellent attention to detail.
3. 5 full years education/employment history with no gaps essential.
4. Proficient with Microsoft packages including Excel and Word.
5. Excellent communication skills.
