We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our talented legal team based in Bamber Bridge, Preston. To be successful, you will already have experience as a legal secretary in a fast-paced environment. You will have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office.
What we're looking for?
Aligned to our ethos and values, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial support to our team of in-house Solicitors, with duties including:
* Typing/digital dictation and handling telephone calls.
* Preparation and processing of legal documents and land registry applications.
* Managing, organizing, and updating electronic and hard copy systems, files, deeds, and other documents.
* Assisting Solicitors with day-to-day tasks.
* Communicating and providing information internally and externally to facilitate organizational operations.
* Performing clerical tasks such as filing, diary management, and record keeping.
* Carrying out other reasonable tasks to support the Legal Department and relevant divisions of the Group.
Skills
* Excellent secretarial skills including audio typing.
* Exceptional organization, administration, diary management, and record-keeping skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word (especially tracked changes), Excel, and Outlook; PowerPoint is a plus.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to handle high workload and prioritize effectively.
