RESPONSIBILITIES In a nutshell, we need a Graphic Designer with excellent design skills who is ready to roll up their sleeves, supporting three of our largest contracts by serving supercharged designs and marketing for their on-site team, along with other ad-hoc requests that come your way. This person will be able to create and deliver exciting F&B marketing artwork through all techniques of visual communication (digital, print, video,) and most importantly, is able to make a valuable impact with their ideas, their personality and their individual style. Day-to-day duties include thinking outside of the bread bin when it comes to design. Someone who’s an Adobe guru (we’re talking AI, IDD, PSD), but not afraid of working with most designers' Achilles heel – PowerPoint We need someone who can take control of a brief and design a solution that reflects the client’s individual needs. We are looking for someone who can keep things spicy, challenge creative thinking and produce mouth-wateringly good designs. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES No one day is the same for our team of creatives. Each one of the team is obsessed with food, fuelling great designs, and supporting stakeholders and clients across BaxterStorey. Working for the Head of Creative, the Graphic Designer will: Artwork and design all manner of work: digital and physical signage, menus, banners, reports and presentations, and much more, ensuring all work is completed to the highest of standards and on time. Work with senior stakeholders to develop our on-site brand. Create point of sales marketing and menus in multiple locations. This includes designing menus, posters, digital signage, seasonal promotions and flyers plus digital and social media assets. Copywriting and marketing abilities to support in creating marketing posters and proofreading abilities. With the support of our Head office team, roll out monthly and annual marketing. Collaborate with other members of the head office creative team and other creatives across the business to share best practices and bring specific areas of expertise to support the overall team. Constantly find new ways of re-imagining our marketing designs across the location Keep up to date with the latest artwork, design trends, techniques and software Work closely with internal stakeholders to support manage workflow. Have a clear passion for current food trends and business requirements. Create animated assets for our websites, social media, and marketing for clients. Understand and keeping up-to-date with the latest AI trends, programmes and resources. Qualifications QUALIFICATION: Degree trained preferable Minimum of 3-4 years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite KNOWLEDGE Excellent designer with at least 3 years design experience in a similar role Obsessed about creating great POS marketing Graphic design Illustration Experience in designing food and beverage campaigns A total foodie, who is excited by the food industry A flexible approach when working in a team Printing/Digital Knowledge Great knowledge of our brand, our competitors, and other F&B businesses SKILLS Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite (IDD, AI, PSD, AF) Excellent understanding of good design principles Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Able to work under pressure and work to multiple deadlines Able to work simultaneously (to jump between projects if needed) Copy writing and proof reading Comfortable consulting with senior management and clients Able to communicate and present effective ideas and designs to stakeholders Additional Information PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Have bags of energy Creative mindset and a genuine love for design Be honest and trustworthy Collaborative and huge team player Respectful Real passion for food Practical, organised and structured, and self-motivated High attention to detail Driven, confident and positive approach Excellent communication skills Please include an up to date portfolio with examples of your design skills when submitting your CV.
