Join today and build progress with us. The Opportunity Join Aggregate Industries as a Weighbridge Operator at our Bordesley Green Recycling facility in Birmingham. In this role, youll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring accurate material handling and contributing to a safe, efficient, and environmentally conscious workplace. With a focus on precision, compliance, and teamwork, youll play a key role in upholding our high standards while supporting smooth site operations. Operate the weighbridge system to accurately measure and document incoming and outgoing materials. Verify materials received against accompanying documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with drivers, customers, and site personnel to maintain efficient material handling processes. Monitor and report discrepancies, safety concerns, and operational issues while adhering to all safety protocols. Perform minimal administrative tasks, including raising purchase orders and processing invoices. Who You Are Youre a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and precision. Your ability to manage processes efficiently makes you an essential part of the team. Previous experience as a Weighbridge Operator or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Administrative experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and familiarity with weighbridge systems are beneficial.
