Overview We are seeking a Machine Operator/Setter to join our client dynamic team. Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery, including mills and other fabrication equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality and longevity. Utilise SolidWorks and CAD software for designing and modifying tooling as required. Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management. Conduct basic maths calculations for measurements and adjustments during production processes. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues with machinery and implement effective solutions. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Assist in the fabrication of components as needed, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge. Qualifications Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of materials handling processes and techniques. Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
