Bee in the Woods opened a second magical outdoor childcare setting in September last year in the beautiful Stanmer Park, Brighton. Our beautiful woodland base provides 3-5 year olds with a unique early years experience in a child-led and play-based environment. We value nature as our teacher and learn through play amongst the trees or at the local beach.
Supported by the award-winning team at our existing setting, Stanmer Kindergarten runs from an enclosed secret garden and delivers our unique, outdoor approach to Early Years education to families living in East Brighton. Due to high demand, we are getting ready to grow our team from April.
The Role
We are looking for a talented and passionate Kindergarten educator to join our award-winning team. You will use your existing skills and passion for nature to provide a wonderful experience for our children. As a key person to a small group of children, you will provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for the children aged 3-5 years in our beautiful outdoor setting. You’ll work as part of a friendly and creative team to create a magical environment where children can develop and learn through play.
We are looking for a new colleague with a passion for and commitment to learning through play. As an intuitive listener, you will be confident at observing, reflecting on, and scaffolding children’s learning experiences. You will be excited to offer children the unique opportunity to be connected to the natural world, rain or shine, and have the ability to inspire, enthuse, and capture young imaginations and make rainy days irresistible!
