The role
As we continue to grow, we're now on the lookout for a talented People and Payroll Coordinator to join the wonderful People Team here in London. This is the perfect opportunity for a proactive, organised individual who has experience delivering the smooth running of the payroll processes and is looking to expand their HR experience.
You will play a vital role in a team that is driven, hard-working and dedicated to making our own employee experience as fulfilling as can be.
1. Acting as the first point of contact on our People Team and Payroll Inboxes for all Europe employees and with exposure to North America employees too. This means you will be the go-to person for all general HR and payroll queries, escalating when necessary.
2. Ensuring our new joiners in Lisbon and London are set up for success and live the best pre-employment experience possible from the outset. This person will be responsible for producing contracts of employment, new starter forms, running right to work checks, background checks. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get to know and build relationships with our employees from the start of their journey with us.
3. Acting as the point of contact throughout our new joiners’ induction. You’ll working closely with our Project Excellence team to organise, develop and execute our onboarding programme across the whole business.
4. Acting as our payroll whizz! You will collate and provide relevant employee information,, ensuring starters / leavers / variations / maternity / paternity are recorded on our HRIS system and feed into our monthly payroll instructions, working with our external payroll providers and experienced Finance Team to ensure each pay run is accurate.
5. Be responsible for queries surrounding our benefits and pension/401k schemes globally alongside administering any changes, communicating information on the policies, creating self-service resources and upkeeping the data.
6. Managing the employee lifecycle processes for all Europe employees, including probationary periods, creating documentation that outlines our best practice.
7. Drive improvements across all our people processes with innovation, operational excellence and outstanding employee experience at the forefront.
8. Supporting our team by being our ‘go-to’ person for our data & reports from our HRIS (Rippling) by developing our data capacities and always ensuring our HRIS (Rippling) is up to date.
9. Providing generalist administrative support for our team where necessary.
10. Getting first-hand experience and exposure to all things HR by getting yourself involved in any projects that you are interested in.
Requirements
11. Previous experience in payroll administration.
12. Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a keen sense of urgency.
14. A well-organised individual with impeccable accuracy and a close attention to detail. The ability to spot inconsistencies in data and address these with the relevant systems and/or with the relevant people
15. Ability to deal with confidential information in a professional manner.
16. Competency in Microsoft Excel
