This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Medicine Management Team where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our diagnostic service within the Endoscopy Directorate.
We are looking for an inspirational and innovative leader who is keen to explore new ideas and ways of working with various teams and who will foster an environment of continuous improvement, inclusion and staff engagement.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and collaborative individual, confident at communicating across all staffing types and in partnership with other teams and organisation.
The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, extensive problem solving skills and the ability to effectively prioritise competing workload/demands.
The post holder will work alongside the Clinical Lead and Matron as a key member of the senior leadership triumvirate; accountable for organising Directorate resources to ensure delivery of safe, high quality and effective patient care.
The post holder will work closely with the Endoscopy Matron and Clinical Lead in ensuring that all local and national performance standards and objectives are met and maintained.
An important element will be the contribution to the strategic development and continuing improvement of clinical services, in conjunction with the service leadership and wider team, driving efficiencies and innovation throughout the directorate.
The post holder will represent the service externally across a range of stakeholders, including but not limited to networks, commissioners, charities and regulators.
