About The Role
The Workdry Group has seen enormous growth over recent years. Due to this we’re pleased to be adding an ESG Coordinator into our friendly and hard working SHEQ team.
This role will involve engaging with internal and other stakeholders on Workdry ESG environmental activities, conducting research, delivering on initiatives to support our business, our customers and our communities. If you’re looking to move into a new role this would be an ideal opportunity to develop further into the world of SHEQ.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the implementation of the ESG business monitoring processes by leading meetings, taking notes, updating trackers and preparing reports using both the environmental management system and our internal SHEQ management system.
* Support the development of new ESG solutions, referencing sustainability standards and frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, UN SDGs, PRI, and GRESB. You will also manage the testing of new ESG protocols and pilot programs before full implementation.
* Coordinate and administrate business transformation activities (workshops, meetings, projects etc.) in line with Workdry’s Environmental Management Plan (EMP) long term strategy.
* Support management with the preparation and delivery of environmental reporting, including annual company energy usage and associated emissions reporting, company disclosures with tenders, ESG related prequalification’s, Eco Vadis and similar.
* Develop and maintain positive, strong working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders via phone, email and meetings, always practicing good teamwork in support of day-to-day operating requirements.
* Identify, propose and support delivery on building efficiency projects to drive energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction, ensuring project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
* Conduct desktop research, analyze findings, track industry policy positions, provide updates and keep up to date on topics of expertise and act as the point of reference for them within the ESG team. Contribute to effective ways of storing and sharing the findings across the ESG team, management and wider business.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Recognised degree/qualification in environmental science or management, sustainable development, climate change, energy management or OHS-related.
* Previous experience in ESG or EHS related role.
* Ability to use initiative and to be adaptable to changing priorities.
* Familiarity or applied experience with ESG reporting and disclosure requirements and understanding key ESG frameworks and third-party guidelines such as TCFD, ISSB, GRI and SASB would be preferable.
* Experience with delivery, measurement and reporting of CSR/Social value activities within a corporate organisation.
* Knowledge of ISO standards, particularly ISO14001 and ISO50001 and ability to conduct audits.
* Corporate affairs, governance and communications experience would be an advantage.
* Strong analytical skills (including the use of Excel, PowerBI tools), monitoring and reporting, and communication/presentation skills.
* Strong problem-solving and data management skills.
