Our Client is a globally recognised, successful bank who provide world-class services to various institutions and individuals. Offering a comprehensive range of retail and corporate financial services/products, this thriving business boasts over 10 million active customers in over 700 business locations. Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Senior Mortgage Advisor.
Hybrid role – 3 days a week in the London office, 2 days from home
Key Responsibilities:
1. To develop and grow new Mortgage business relationships for Non-UK and UK residents for Buy to Let Mortgages, delivering on planning and executing the broader strategy for Private Banking.
2. Manage the Bank’s existing Mortgage business relationships, ensuring increased business activity, volumes and profitability from such relationships.
3. To develop a book of clients/sales leads from personal network, First Bank Group and client referrals.
4. To offer the Bank’s mortgage products to target market clients (HNWIs/HNIs); develop new High Net worth (HNW) client relationships and business, including cross selling of the Bank’s products.
5. To manage assigned mortgage portfolio whilst developing new mortgage relationships with the view of growing the mortgage book and revenue figures.
6. Grow and maintain a book of Mortgage clients as determined annually by the Head of Private Banking.
7. To assess viability of clients’ mortgage requests and prepare credit applications for Credit Committee’s approval.
8. To conduct effective KYC/KYB screening to ascertain risk profiles and review due diligence documentation to assist with client onboarding and retention.
9. To develop relationships with third party stakeholders and professionals e.g. Mortgage business introducers, Solicitors/law firms, property specialists/agents/brokers and surveyors.
Key Skills/Experience:
1. Must have strong and solid experience in Mortgage Services.
2. CeMap Qualification.
3. Evidence of Mortgage Advice experience.
4. Buy-to-Let mortgage experience within the UK.
