Business Support Officer Hourly Rate: £12.00 per hr paye Location: Manchester City Council Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (3 months) We are seeking a Business Support Officer to support our Housing Aids and Adaptations team for the next 3 months. This role is ideal for someone with excellent administration and business support skills, who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain high standards of professionalism. As you will be supporting a Telephone Project relating to The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), which is the UK’s standalone medicines and medical devices regulator. Day-to-day of the role: Provide administrative support to the Housing Adaptations team vis a new project that will be telephone based. Handle telephone inquiries with a professional and courteous manner. Respond promptly to email queries, ensuring clear and effective communication. Manage and maintain records and databases with high accuracy. Utilise strong Microsoft Office skills to create documents, reports, and presentations. Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments. Support the team in various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in an administrative or business support role and call centre experience would be beneficial. Excellent telephone manner and communication skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
