Job Advert: Temporary Additional Learning Support Tutor
Location: Bromley, London
Hours: 37 hours per week
Rate: £22 per hour
We are seeking a confident and qualified SEN practitioner to provide essential support and tuition to learners with identified learning difficulties or disabilities. This role involves delivering an exceptional learning experience to individual learners or groups, equipping them with the skills necessary to succeed in both national and local exams and assessments, as well as fostering social skills and behaviours that will help them succeed in employment or higher education.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted support and tuition to learners with SEN to enhance their academic performance and life skills.
Ensure learners are prepared for exams, assessments, and post-education opportunities such as employment or higher education.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each learner or group, promoting inclusive learning.
Work closely with learners to develop social skills, emotional well-being, and positive behaviours.Key Requirements:
Level 3 specialist SEN qualification (or working towards it) or equivalent.
A full teaching qualification (or working towards it).
Proven ability to motivate and inspire learners with a variety of needs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with learners, staff, and external parties.
Strong organisational skills, with sound knowledge of IT and administrative processes.
A valid Enhanced DBS check with inclusion on the Adults Barred List.If this sounds like the role for you, please get in touch!
