This exceptional school caters to students aged 11 to 18 with additional needs, including autism and ADHD. These students benefit from tailored support during lessons and often follow an EHCP. Your role will be to inspire and guide each learner, ensuring they feel supported throughout their educational journey. Nestled in a beautiful setting, the school has cultivated a warm and welcoming atmosphere where both students and staff thrive. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The school delivers personalised learning plans designed to meet each pupil's unique needs, complemented by therapeutic activities provided by its psychology and occupational therapy teams. Boasting outstanding facilities, including food technology suites and music departments, the school maintains small class sizes of around eight students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-on-one support during lessons, demonstrate confidence in managing challenging behavior, and help students remain engaged and achieve their potential. Requirements: Experience with Special Educational Needs Experience working with children Experience with challenging behaviour Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Willing to complete a DBS or have a DBS which is already on the update service Have a passion for education.
