Job Overview As Private Patient Administrator you will join a small team of Administrators based at Frimley Park Hospital, processing our Private Inpatients across our 3 sites. We have 44.5 ours on offer as part of a job share and as such we are open to a variant of hours - our core office hours are between 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. Preferred Working Pattern Mon 7.5hrs 8am-4pm Tues 7.5hrs 8am-4pm Wed 7.5hrs 8 am-4pm and Wed 7hrs 8am -3.30pm Thursday, 7.5 hrs 8am - 4pm Friday 7.5hrs 8am-4pm Main duties of the job Purpose Of Job To provide an efficient office and general administrative service to support the Private Patient Units cross-site. To ensure that Trust standards are adhered to in relation to all patient documentation and data input. To work flexibly to meet the needs of a changing workload and service. To receive Private Patient Bookings via email/teams and process via internal systems. To be responsible for taking payments for admissions/obtaining Insurance authorisations. Liaise with ward staff to organise maximum and efficient use of bed capacity To effectively manage the Bookings/appt diaries. To maintain accurate records on EPIC and Compucare and all other internal NHS/private patient system. To collate and accurately enter and record operating theatre scheduling information on the theatre management system.
