You will be responsible for:
* The Deputy Manager is intrinsic to the success of the Home through effective delivery of providing support to the Home Manager in ensuring all resident and staffing needs are met.
* Responsible for supporting the Home Manager to embed a safe and welcoming environment for residents, their families, employees and visitors.
* Demonstrate high professional standards and leadership to support the Home Manager ensure staffing requirements and needs are met in line with Trust, CQC and Local Authority standards.
* Provide support to the Home Manager and employees towards the home being rated ‘Good’ or above by CQC.
To be considered for this role of RGN Deputy Manager you will need the following experience:
* Nurse qualified, with a current NMC Pin - Essential
* Relevant and demonstrable work experience in a nursing / residential care setting.
* Ideally have minimum of 12 / 18 months experience of managing staff within nursing / residential care setting.
Can demonstrate excellent leadership and effective communication skills.
* To be an active and encouraging Manager, establish and maintain effective means of communication and good relationships with residents, relatives, employees in the home.
