If so, I am working with a great company in Wetherby who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant.
You will ideally have experience of Xero.
Your Daily To List
* Monitor and maintain main accounts email and action urgent requests
* Bank reconciliations
* Raising Bank payments and investor refunds
* Maintain fixed asset register
* Raise sales invoices including processing rental income statements
* Processing sales and purchase transactions along with checking completion statements.
* Manage supplier accounts and reconcile statements
* Maintain daily ledgers including monitoring and updating the Payhawk system
* Submit meter reads and download utility invoices.
* Assist with the Company’s annual audit
* Ad-hoc analysis of company expense lines e.g. entertaining analysis for p11d purposes
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts
* Monitoring and updating cashflow on a daily basis
* Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for review
* Posting of accruals & prepayments
* Reconcile loan accounts
* Process loan documentation for cashflow purposes and audit purposes.
* Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management
Qualifications and Skills
* Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport.
* 2 years + accounts experience
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
* Being flexible and taking an active part in the implementation of new practices and processes.
* Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
* Computer literate - knowledge of Xero desirable
* Proactive
* Good communication skills
* Great team player and enjoys being hands on.
