Quality Manager
Salary: £39,498 per annum FTE
Hours: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Job Purpose
The Quality Manager plays a vital role in continually improving the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment. Reporting directly to the Director of Quality and Professional Development, your primary responsibility will be to support, challenge, and coach teaching staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the Director of Quality and Professional Development to design and deliver innovative training programs that highlight outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
2. Provide extensive coaching and support to teaching staff, helping them to improve their practices and actively contribute to their development plans.
3. Ensure compliance with Ofsted priorities and expectations regarding the quality of education.
4. Design, deliver, and evaluate professional development programs aimed at continuously enhancing teaching skills.
5. Support newly qualified staff or those in training to be teachers.
6. Engage with learners to seek feedback and improve their learning experience.
7. Participate in college groups and events focused on teaching and assessment.
Person Specification
* A relevant educational qualification, preferably at the postgraduate level.
* Extensive experience in the field of teaching, learning, and assessment, with a proven track record of driving quality improvement.
* Familiarity with Ofsted and all other quality assurance frameworks and bodies' priorities, expectations, and judgements.
* In-depth knowledge of educational technologies and their effective integration into teaching practices.
* Strong organisational and project management abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with various stakeholders.
* A strong commitment to continuous professional development.
