What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a creative, skilled, and enthusiastic Teacher of Design Technology (with a specialism in Textiles) to join our supportive and committed department team. The post would suit an excellent classroom practitioner at any stage of their career. Therefore, applications from ECTs or more experienced teachers are welcome. This post is offered as a fixed-term contract for one year to cover maternity leave. This is a part-time role (ideally 0.6-0.8 FTE) but negotiable as we have some flexibility in staffing. The ability to be able to teach art or a second Design Technology discipline - food or product design - is advantageous. We offer an exceptional working environment where staff, as well as students, thrive.
