Manual Machining Engineering Instructor
Location: Kent (Commutable from Dartford, Maidstone, Rochester, Canterbury, Swanlea, Medway, Tonbridge)
Salary: Up to approx £35,000 basic salary (+ Profit Share Opportunities, Pension, Life Insurance, Funded Training)
Are you a Mechanical Engineer/Machinist/Fitter with a strong knowledge and experience of Manual Machining in a workshop environment, and looking to move into a trainer/instructor role? Or are you an experienced Mechanical Engineering/Manual Machining Trainer who is currently seeking a new opportunity at an exceptional training provider? Teaching experience is not required, and all teacher training can be provided for the right candidate.
My client is offering a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is looking for a new role as a Manual Machining Trainer, at a leading Engineering education company in the Kent area, that are currently seeking the above to deliver mechanical workshop practices to their apprentices at Level 2/3. Whilst a background in training/instructing would be advantageous, this position would also suit a highly experienced mechanical engineer that is committed to utilising their knowledge and experience to train the next generation of mechanical engineers.
The successful candidate must hold a Level 3 qualification in a Mechanical Engineering related subject, as well as having relevant industry experience in a workshop environment. Skill set required includes:
1. Milling
2. Turning
3. Lathes
4. Bench fitting
5. Drill press
A professional industrial qualification would also be advantageous.
