Band 6 £39,912 - £48,635 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,349

Fixed Term Contract for 24 months
NHS Western Isles have received funding from Macmillan to focus on service improvements around the Nutrition Pathway in Cancer. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone to focus on service scoping, pathway development, training, and quality improvement work to make a real difference to the nutritional care of patients at all stages of their cancer journey.
The post is funded by Macmillan for 2 years and would be suited to a Registered Dietitian, Nurse, or AHP with a passion for service and quality improvement in cancer care and a good knowledge and interest in nutrition.
The postholder will work with multidisciplinary health care teams, third sector organisations, patients, and national groups to improve services and patient experiences across the Western Isles.
The postholder will be part of the Nutrition and Dietetic Department but will also work closely with the Macmillan Team.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme). This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
