My client based in East Sussex is looking for 2 Housing Move On Workers to assist them on an initial 3 month contract. Key Responsibilities : Manage a caseload of clients with multiple and complex needs, offering intensive tenancy support. Provide practical advice and assistance to prevent rough sleeping recurrence. Work collaboratively with the Rough Sleeping Initiative (RSI) team and refer clients to relevant specialists. Help clients find and secure suitable housing, including financial support from local authorities and charities. Support clients with tenancy start-up and provide tenancy sustainment to prevent homelessness. Liaise with landlords, resolve tenancy issues, and negotiate tenancy renewals. Complete regular support plans and risk assessments for each client. Ensure accurate case file documentation on the RSI database. Participate in team reviews and collaborate with local housing options teams. Essential Experience & Skills : Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health and substance misuse. Familiarity with homelessness, housing, or social care sectors. Knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and housing options. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. Personal Attributes : Empathy and the ability to build rapport with clients. Commitment to professional boundaries and risk management. Resilient and able to manage competing priorities. Requirements : Enhanced DBS clearance. Full UK driving license and access to a car for travel. Ability to work flexible hours when necessary. IT proficiency for recording accurate information.
