Salary: £35,000 with performance-based bonuses

About the Role:
As an Area Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships within your assigned territory. You’ll act as the key point of contact for customers, identifying their needs and presenting tailored energy solutions to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage a pipeline of new and existing business opportunities within your territory.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
3. Conduct site visits and technical consultations to assess client requirements and present customised solutions.
4. Work closely with the internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
5. Achieve sales targets by implementing strategic account management and identifying upsell opportunities.
About You:
1. Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within the energy, engineering, or industrial sectors or someone who is looking for their first step into a field based sales role.
2. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
3. Ability to understand and convey complex technical solutions in a clear and engaging manner.
4. Self-motivated, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
5. A background in engineering or technical consultancy would be advantageous but is not essential.
