Hutcheon Mearns is delighted to partner with a prominent organisation in their search for a Bookkeeper – Part Time based in Edinburgh. This role will work across both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) while supporting the management accountant with month-end. The salary on offer will be up to £27,000.
The Opportunity
Our client has experienced significant growth and diversification in recent years, expanding into various industries. In this role, you will be working alongside the Management Accountant supporting with month-end and management accounts while also covering Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This role will be 25 hours long and can be flexible on the days and hours. Key duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
2. Reconciling company accounts, including credit cards and expenses
3. Supporting with month-end duties
Background and Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an office environment, particularly within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Proficiency in Excel and finance systems is essential.
