Manage our village shop in Great Milton.
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Shop Manager to run our village shop.
The current owners are retiring and the village is banding together to keep the shop going.
We need a professional shopkeeper at the heart of operations to make things run smoothly and work with a group of villagers to rethink the shop and how it operates. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in recreating the village shop.

What We’re Looking For:
* Customer-focused: You’ll be the face of our shop, greeting customers with a smile and providing great service.
* Organized: You’ll maintain stock, manage inventory, and keep the shop tidy and welcoming.
* Flexible: We need someone who can adapt to different shifts, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain stock levels, reorder products, and keep the shop well-organized.
* Organise rotas of local volunteers to assist in the day to day running.
* Handle cash, card transactions, accounts and admin tasks.
* Produce displays, seasonal promotions, and special events.
* Handle deliveries and unpacking
* Develop links with local suppliers
* Be involved in social media to advertise and grow awareness of the shop

Requirements:
* Previous experience in retail and small shops is a plus.
* Must be reliable, trustworthy, and enjoy working with the public.
