An opportunity has arisen to join the leadership team at East Surrey Hospital as Occupational Therapy Team Lead in Acute Medicine. The highly motivated and dynamic acute medical team is a well-established integrated multidisciplinary team and respected within the hospital. The Team is committed to providing high-quality and effective therapy assessment and treatment to our patients in the acute medical wards.
We are looking for a team lead who is forward-thinking, innovative, and flexible, with depth of knowledge and experience in Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions with a wide range of medical conditions, elderly care, and equipment provision. You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the service delivery and managing a complex caseload. You will have experience in supervising staff and be an accredited practice placement educator.

This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to engage others, with a proactive approach to service development. You will also demonstrate a strong commitment to a person-centred approach in line with the Trust Values and Behaviours. As such, the successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to be flexible, work under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
