Job Description:
We’re looking for a Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team at our Thame Head Office. This role supports Business Partners by providing financial insights, accurate forecasting, and key reporting. Responsibilities include generating financial reports, analysing variances, and providing storytelling commentary to facilitate informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly accounts, variance analysis, and KPIs.
* Support group-level reporting and respond to parent company inquiries.
* Assist in quarterly and annual financial statement preparation.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
* Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiency improvements.
* Translate complex financial data into insights to support strategic decisions.
* Produce board-level reports summarising key financial insights.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent), actively working toward full qualification.
* Strong communication skills, translating financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
* Storytelling with data – presenting insights clearly and engagingly.
* Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
* Experience in commercial finance and understanding business challenges.
* Familiarity with PeopleSoft and Planning Analytics is a plus.
