About the role Archaeology Warwickshire need an archaeological project officer. Key Requirements You will need proven experience in:- Working collaboratively, DBA writing; overseeing the safe removal and storage of overburden; developing strategies to excavate a wide variety of site types, periods and geologies in accordance with an approved WSI; the understanding of context formation processes, stratigraphy and matrix compilation; clear and concise report writing and a fundamental interest in discussive synthesis. Degree or post-graduate qualification in archaeology or related discipline. Experience of working on a wide range of archaeological projects and site types. A working knowledge of GPS and GIS (and possibly even total stations and photogrammetry). A current UK driving licence and unequivocal willingness and competency to drive for business needs (including driving our vehicles). Membership (ACI f A or MCI f A) of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists or commitment to join. A health and safety qualification or commitment to train for one.
