This is truly an exciting time to join us on our journey. We are seeking a Senior Delivery Lead to join our delivery practice to work closely with our clients in both Public and Private Sectors. This role can be completed in a hybrid way, spending time in our Solihull, Dudley, or London offices as well as with our clients in their London offices, once a week. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Lead the end-to-end delivery of application development and modernisation projects. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication. Understand client needs and requirements, ensuring they are met throughout the project lifecycle. Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships. Present project updates, outcomes, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership. Team Leadership: Manage and lead cross-functional project teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Lead and manage Agile delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges. Ensure proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Implement best practices and processes for quality assurance. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements. Agile Practices: Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. Coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality. Advocate for Agile principles and practices within the team and the organisation. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Proven ability to empower and shape a team towards effective delivery Strong understanding of application development and modernisation services. Demonstrated ability to pro-actively spot gaps and challenges in the SDLC lifecycle, and identify and support the implementation of improvements Excellent project management skills, with experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Exceptional client engagement and relationship management skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
