Head and Neck Surgical Oncology

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a BE/BC Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist to join its team of highly skilled surgeons in the Division of Surgical Oncology. The ideal candidate will be BE/BC in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery with sub-specialty training in Head & Neck Surgery from an accredited program. Clinical interest in microvascular reconstructive surgery is desired.
Academic involvement in Memorial’s ACGME-accredited general surgery residency training program will be strongly encouraged. The selected candidate will collaborate with an established, multidisciplinary team of specialists using the latest technological advancements, including transoral robotic surgery, for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of head and neck oncologic conditions.
The incumbent will have the opportunity to practice the full breadth of ablative, reconstructive, complex airway, and skull base surgery with a wide variety of complex pathologies. Complementing the Division of Surgical Oncology, Memorial Healthcare System has comprehensive programs, including Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology, located onsite. The Head & Neck Surgery Division is led by a fellowship-trained head and neck oncologic and microvascular surgeon. In addition, our multidisciplinary team includes radiation and medical oncologists with specific head and neck expertise.
This is a full-time employed position with the Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
