You will work with the Transport Delivery and Contract teams, transport operators, parents, head teachers and other internal and external agencies, providing guidance and support. We work in accordance with relevant government legislation and Council policies, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail, high levels of customer service and safeguarding.
As part of the Appeals and Complaints Team you will:
* Handle eligibility and service-related issues
* Manage appeals regarding transport eligibility and suitability, ensuring decisions are reviewed fairly
* Represent the Local Authority at Stage 2 Appeal Panels
* Address complaints about the service
* Provide information and support to parents and guardians, facilitating the resolution of issues amicably, ensuring transparency throughout the process
