The post holder will be responsible for the development, support, configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of business applications and processes. The role will involve working with various areas of the business. You will help identify gaps and issues in our current processes and work with the departmental teams to resolve/improve their process through process mapping and development, automation, and system integration. In addition, you will also be involved in new system implementations and business process reengineering. Responsibilities Support systems used throughout the business including day to day usage, upgrades and new product implementations. Troubleshoot and investigate problems arising throughout the engineering and production environment. Participate in the development and documentation of operational standards and procedures in relation to application services. Liaise with all sections of the business to ensure the provision of a fully integrated, efficient, effective, and customer focused applications service. Proactively monitoring and managing performance of business systems and using trend analysis to prevent business affecting problems arising. Participate in the provision of technical expertise in the specification, procurement, and implementation of application related products, systems and services for the organisation to function efficiently. Communicate with stakeholders regarding change management, system performance, and business needs to maintain relationships and provide an effective service to ensure continuous improvement. Continuous improvement including development, User Acceptance Testing, and training. These responsibilities will cover a range of software, predominately 3DExperience & Enovia. Experience with PLM Systems. Knowledge of Engineering methodologies/practices. Experience working with 3D Experience in a design capacity. Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills Good oral and written communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of people, including end users, management and external suppliers. Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and projects. Ability to build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and subject matter experts and to influence peers and senior stakeholders. Expected to consistently keep abreast of new developments within the business, which would impact on areas of responsibility. Desirable Experience of supporting products/services within a complex IT environment. Experience with as is, to be process mapping and modelling Business Processes. Creating and maintaining User Acceptance test plans for new and existing software. Coordinating User Acceptance testing and feedback for new software and software upgrades.
